Held over the weekend of 25, 26 and 27 January, the Larson Sawmilling North Island Jumping championships were conducted at held at the A&P Showgrounds in Gisborne.

BAYLEYS REAL ESTATE GISBORNE FEI CSI1*

The first three placegetters in this class were the only three combinations to record double clears. Melody Matheson and Graffiti MH, won by a margin of just 0.26 seconds in the jump-off. The first six placegetters in this class were:

LEADERBRAND PRODUCE NORTH ISLAND SPEED HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP 1.20m to 1.30m
Rotorua rider Mikayla Herbert and Snow Storm proved their slickness by taking out the Speed class. The first six placegetters in this class were:

FARMERS AIR, NORTH ISLAND YOUNG RIDER SERIES 1.30m to 1.40m
Fresh from his sixth placing in the CSI1* class the previous day, Todd Magner and Awatuna Jonesy took out this young rider class. The first six placegetters in this class were:

GEOFF CANDY – MARIKA STN, NORTH ISLAND OPEN HORSE CLASSIC 1.35m
Luke Dee, one of the busiest riders this weekend and Cheyenne, combined to take out this open horse class. The first six placegetters in this class were:

LARSEN SAWMILLING NORTH ISLAND PREMIER LEAGUE 1.40m to 1.60m
Young gun, Briar Burnett-Grant and Fibre Fresh Veroana combined to take out this prestigious class by recording double clear rounds, as did the second and third placegetters. The first six placegetters in this class were:
